Calvary Baptist Tabernacle was founded on 7th August 1975 with a total membership of thirty-six persons.  Today, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Calvin O. Hazel, the Tabernacle has a membership of over three hundred persons.  There are various Ministries working together to make this Church the success that it is, working to accomplish the work of God.  Here is an overview of these Ministries at The Calvary Baptist Tabernacle.

THE DENTAL CLINIC
In 1996, a team of men and women from the USA led  by  Dr  Ron Herrod visited St Kitts and assisted  in  setting  up  the Dental Clinic with all modern equipment.  Dr Noie was the first Dentist to operate in the clinic.  He was also instrumental in allocating the equipment 
The Dental Clinic is located on the second storey of the church building and is fully equipped in an air conditioned room. We have been providing assistance to the people free of cost. Services offered are prophalactic treatment, such as cleaning and filling of the teeth as well as extractions.  Clients are asked to give a donation for maintenance of the equipment.
An American dental team offers their services each year for one week.
We give thanks and praise to God for their kind assistance and hope that one day this service can be done more frequently.

THE PRE-SCHOOL
The Pre-School was organised by Reverend Dr Calvin Hazel in 1985 and after twenty-three (23) years the school has grown into a fine institution providing education and care to the community.  Sis Margaret Douglas has been the Principal of the school since its inception.

TELEPHONE COUNSELLING
This Ministry at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle forms part of the Television and Radio Broadcasts.  The Baptist Media Centre in Florida conducted sessions to better equip  our counsellors when our television ministry was launched in 1998.  Also with the help of the Billy Graham hand-book on counselling, workers are more capable in handling many of the problems in our society. 
A Counselling Centre has been established where our counsellors are made available whenever the broadcast is heard.  This type of counselling is a very useful and effective tool for the church in its effort to help the wider community.  Our counselling hotline is 1 (869) 465-3883.

THE BUS MINISTRY
Transportation is one of the means of getting people to and from the Tabernacle.  Being mindful of this and the concerns of people who are anxious to visit the church we embarked on a bold initiative and purchased a number of buses.  Just recently we purchased two new buses and our fleet now consists of five buses.
The commitment and efficiency of the chauffeurs in transporting people to the church enables services to start as scheduled.

THE MUSIC MINISTRY
The music ministry is a very important aspect of our church.  Over the years the Lord has blessed us with talent and humility and our music souls are being blessed, not only in St Kitts but throughout the entire Caribbean. We give God thanks for allowing us to serve him in this capacity.

THE CHOIRS
In our beautiful church, there are three(3) choirs, namely, the Senior Choir, The Junior Choir and the Children’s Choir.
The Senior Choir has blessed the hearts of many around our region with a fine selection of songs that are arranged and rehearsed at designated practice sessions.
The Junior Choir stemmed from “The Friendship Club” and the Children’s Choir.
All choirs are under the directive of Bro. Adrian Taylor.
